Itinerary 3 Days

Anuradhapura

  • Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport.
  • Greeting by a representative and transfer to a private luxury vehicle.
  • Four-hour drive to Anuradhapura.

  • Check in at Forest Rock Garden for the night.
Day 2

Sigiriya

  • Breakfast and check out.
  • Visit Mihintale Buddhist Temple.
  • Transfer to Polonnaruwa for lunch at Priyamali Gedara.
  • Explore ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa.
  • Travel to Sigiriya and check in at Amaya Lake.
Day 3

Dambulla, Airport

  • Early breakfast and visit Lion’s Rock in Sigiriya.
  • Climb 1,200 steps to the Rock Fortress for breathtaking views.
  • Village tour with local rice and curry lunch.
  • Explore Dambulla Cave Temple (400-step climb).
  • Transfer to the airport for departure.

Itinerary 7 Days

Sigiriya

Day 1

  • Upon your early arrival on Day 01 at Bandaranaike International Airport, a representative will greet you and transfer you to Sigiriya in a private luxury vehicle for a four-hour journey, marking the start of your cultural tour of Sri Lanka.
  • Your first destination will be the Dambulla Cave Temple, which requires a climb of around 400 steps.
  • After this, you’ll check in to Amaya Lake on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2

  • You will explore the Lion’s Rock, ascending 1,200 steps to discover the Rock Fortress.
  • Following this adventure, enjoy a one-and-a-half-hour drive to Polonnaruwa, where you will have lunch at Priyamali Gedara.
  • After lunch, explore the ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa before returning to Sigiriya for the night.

Day 3

  • You will head to the ancient city of Anuradhapura, approximately a one-and-a-half-hour drive away, to visit the Mihintale Buddhist Temple.
  • After your visit, you will return to Sigiriya for the night.
Day 4,5

Day 4,5:Kandy

  • On Day 04, while traveling to Kandy, you will visit the Matale Alu Vihara Temple.
  • After a three-hour drive, you will arrive in Kandy, where you can enjoy an evening cultural dance performance.
  • Check in to the Golden Crown Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 5

  • The following morning, visit the Temple of the Tooth to receive blessings from Buddhist monks.
  • Explore the three temple loop: Gadaladeniya, Embekke, and Lankathilake.
  • After your visits, return to your hotel in Kandy for the night.
Day 6,7

Day 6,7 Colombo

Day 6

  • On Day 06, you will journey for three hours to Colombo, with a stop to visit the Kelaniya and Kotte Rajamahaviharaya along the way.
  • You will spend the night at Galle Face Hotel.

Day 7

  • To conclude your cultural tour of Sri Lanka on Day 07, you may choose to take a city tour of Colombo.
  • After your tour, head to the airport for your onward journey.
Day 1

Itinerary 14 Days

Day 1:Colombo

  • Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, your two-week cultural journey will begin in Colombo, the island's commercial capital.
  • You will spend your first night at the Galle Face Hotel.

Day 2, 3: Anuradhapura

Day 2

  • After a city tour of Colombo on Day 2, you will head to Anuradhapura.
  • En route, you’ll visit the ancient city of Yapahuwa, a remarkable fortified site dating back to the 13th century.
  • In Anuradhapura, you will stay overnight at Palm Garden Village.

Day 3

  • You will explore the historical remains of Anuradhapura and later visit the Mihintale Buddhist Temple before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 4, 5: Sigiriya

  • As you travel to Sigiriya, you will stop to see the Aukana Buddha Statue and the Dambulla Cave Temple.
  • Your accommodation for the night will be at Cinnamon Lodge.

Day 5

  • Prepare for an adventurous day as you visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, enjoy a delicious Rice & Curry meal at Priyamali House, and climb Lion’s Rock in Sigiriya.
  • You will stay overnight again at Cinnamon Lodge.
Day 6,7,8

Day 6

  • On Day 6, begin your journey to Kandy, stopping to visit the Matale Alu Viharaya Buddhist Temple and the Matale Hindu Temple along the way.
  • In Kandy, you’ll enjoy an evening cultural dance performance and then check in to Amaya Hills for the night.

Day 7

  • You will visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic to receive blessings from Buddhist monks.
  • After this, take a tour of the Three Temple Loop, which includes Gadaladeniya, Embekke, and Lankathilake Temples, all from the 14th century.
  • Return to your hotel in Kandy for your overnight stay.

Day 8

  • Explore the culture of the Veddas in Dambana Mahiyanganaya and visit the Mahiyanganaya Temple.
  • You will again stay overnight at Amaya Hills.
Day 9

Nuwara Eliya

  • On Day 9, make your way to the scenic town of Nuwara Eliya, with stops at several waterfalls, including Ramboda Falls.
  • You will also visit the Pedro Tea Factory and enjoy the lush tea plantations.
  • A tour of Nuwara Eliya, known as "Little England," is also included.
  • Your overnight accommodation will be at Grand Hotel.
Day 10

Ella

  • From Nanu Oya, you will take a beautiful train ride to Ella, where a visit to Rawana Falls is a must.
  • You will spend the night at Mountain Heavens.
Day 11

Udawalawa

  • On Day 11, start your day early to witness a stunning sunrise from the Ella Gap.
  • You will then travel to Udawalawa, where you will enjoy a luxurious jeep safari in Udawalawa National Park.
  • Your accommodation for the night will be at Centauria Wild.
Day 12

Galle

  • On Day 12, continue to Galle, stopping to visit the hot water springs in Embilipitiya and the fish market in Weligama.
  • You will also get a chance to observe the traditional practice of stilt fishing.
  • Spend the night at Jetwing Lighthouse Hotel in Galle.
Day 13, 14

Colombo

  • On Day 13, explore the Galle Dutch Fort to learn about its history, followed by a boat ride on Madu Lake before returning to Colombo.
  • You will check in at Galle Face Hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 14

  • If you have around 6-7 hours before your flight departure, you may take a city tour of Colombo.
