Legal Requirements

• For the wedding ceremony, certain legal documentation must be submitted at least one month before your wedding date. The required documents include:
• An English translation of the Marriage Certificate.
• A copy of the birth certificate (the original will be required one day before the ceremony).
• A copy of a valid passport (the original will be needed one day before the ceremony).
• The name, address, and occupation details of both partners.
• The name, address, and occupation details of each partner's parents.
• An affidavit signed by a solicitor (with company stamp) to verify the marital status of both the bride and groom prior to the ceremony.
• If either party is divorced, a Decree Absolute must be provided to confirm that the previous marriage was lawfully terminated.
• If either party is widowed, a Death Certificate of the previous spouse is needed.
• If either party has undergone a name change, legal proof must be submitted.
