Day 1

Arrival in Colombo

  • Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, a representative will welcome you and serve as your chauffeur and guide for the next 14 days of your wildlife adventure in Sri Lanka.
  • Your first stop will be a brief exploration of the vibrant capital city of Colombo, followed by check-in at the Marino Beach Hotel for the night.
Day 2

Wilpattu

  • On the morning of Day 2, your wildlife journey begins as you head towards Wilpattu. En route, visit the Anawilundawa Wetland Sanctuary for stunning natural scenery and birdwatching.
  • You will be staying at Big Game Camp in Wilpattu.
Day 3

Wilpattu

  • Enjoy a full-day jeep safari to fully experience the diverse wildlife within Wilpattu National Park, where you can observe its unique ecosystem.
Day 4

Sigiriya

  • Travel to Sigiriya, arriving by lunchtime. Experience a village tour and savor an authentic rice and curry meal.
  • Afterward, drive to Minneriya (about 45 minutes) for a jeep safari in Minneriya National Park.
  • You will check in at Amaya Lake Hotel for your stay in Sigiriya.
Day 5

Kandy

  • Start with an early morning birdwatching session at Sigiriya Sanctuary.
  • Later, visit the iconic Lion's Rock, a rock climbing activity accessible to most, offering stunning views and beautiful frescoes along the way.
  • Head to Kandy, aiming to arrive by 5:00 p.m. to enjoy an evening cultural dance performance.
  • You’ll spend the night at the luxurious Amaya Hills Hotel, where you can unwind.
Day 6

Nuwara Eliya

  • The following morning, enjoy a nature trail at Udawattekela Forest Reserve and visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya.
  • After exploring the gardens, you will travel to Nuwara Eliya and check in at Hotel Golden Ridge for a two-night stay.
Day 7

Nuwara Eliya

  • Visit Horton Plains National Park, where a 9.5km nature trail will lead you to the breathtaking World’s End viewpoint and Bakers Falls.
Day 8

Udawalawe

  • From Nuwara Eliya, you’ll visit the picturesque town of Ella, including the Nine Arches Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak.
  • Later that day, transfer to Udawalawe and check in at Big Game Camp for two nights.
Day 9

Udawalawe

  • Explore Udawalawe National Park on a thrilling jeep safari.
Day 10

Yala

  • The following morning, head to Yala for an exciting afternoon jeep safari at Yala National Park.
  • You will stay at Big Game Camp in Yala for the next two nights.
Day 11

Yala

  • Enjoy another morning safari to further explore Yala's rich wildlife, followed by an afternoon visit to Bundala National Park for birdwatching.
Day 12

Sinharaja

  • Day 12 features another safari at Bundala National Park before transferring to Sinharaja.
  • Check in at Rainforest Eco Lodge for your final two nights in Sri Lanka.
Day 13

Sinharaja

  • Embark on a full-day trekking tour to explore the mesmerizing Sinharaja Rain Forest.
Day 14

Departure

  • On your final day, it’s approximately a four-hour drive from Sinharaja to Bandaranaike International Airport.
  • Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll be taken to the airport, concluding your unforgettable wildlife tour in Sri Lanka.
